Description of coat of arms:
Shield parted per fess, above Argent a throughout cross Gules, beneath Gules a branch Argent in fess, issuant from branch a linden leaf, an oak leaf and a trefoil.
Meaning:
The colours are those of the Bishopric of Osnabrück, to which Glandorf belonged for centuries. The upper half is based on a labarum (German: Kirchenfahne), which as part of a Paschal Lamb is an attribute of Str. John the Baptist, the local patron saint. The different leaves growing from the same branch are symbolising the possible fraternity of different people.
