Shield parted per bend wavy, above Sable a 7-spokes wheel Or, beneath Or a Turk's cap lily (Latin: Lilium martagon) Gules stemmed and seeded Vert
Meaning:
The colours black and yellow are taken from the arms of Riedesel Barons of Eisenbach, former local rulers. The wheel is symbolising the rural character of the municipality, its spokes are representing the 7 villages, which formed the municipality on 31 December 1971: Dirlammen, Eichelhain, Eichenrod, Engelrod, Hörgenau, Hopfmannsfeld and Meiches. The lily is taken from the arms of Vogelsberg County, to which the municipality belongs.
