Description of current flag:
The flag is striped white-green-white. The green stripe occupies two thirds of the flag's width. Upon it is in the upper part a yellow anchor cross. The width of the crossbars is one fifth of the flag's width. Proportion of the flag: 1:2.
Meaning:
The flag's colours have been taken from the coat of arms of Damme, namely the third quarter, which contains a silver ploughshare on a green field. The cross is a mutation of the cross in the fourth field of the coat of arms.
