The Flags

Aspect ratio of the flags: 2: 3
The emblem in this green flag shows three white doves soaring over a chimney that is in the midst of flames. At the front, the emblem is limited by a horizontal gear. The symbolism indicates that the governorate is an important industrial location, especially metallurgy, in Egypt. The table flag in the governor's office corresponds to the flag pattern.

With the change in the style and arrangement of the coat of arms elements in 2011, the green of the flag was lightened.
