According to the first newsletter of the new municipality, a new flag could be created, replacing the emblem of the former municipality (see below) by a map of the seven subdelegate municipalities with the limits and names in white, and the emblems of each of them, and the words "Commune nouvelle de Saint-James" above. The image of the flag is presented as a "sketch", which may undergo some modifications.

The former municipality of Saint-James adopted a flag in summer 2016.
The visual identity of the town of Saint James was revisited a few months ago giving birth to a flag containing the municipal coat of arms on a blue background with white stripes. [...] The flag made its appearance before the summer in local shops and then, respecting a planned programm, in various places of the municipality like, for example, from now on the terrace of the town hall.

The flag has three white vertical stripes at the hoist, and the full logo (stylized coat of arms and name of the municipality in white above), created in July 2015, on the blue field.
