Presentation of Société Finistérienne de Cabotage

The Société Finistérienne de Cabotage was created in 1976 by the Compagnie Générale Maritime (the merging of the Messageries Maritimes with the Compagnie Générale Transatlantique) to take over the four ships of the bankrupted Bretam company.

The Société Finistérienne de Cabotage operated the four small tankers Pointe de Lesven, Pointe du Van, Pointe du Roc'h and Pointe de Beuzec, named after capes of Finistère.
