About the club and its flag

The club is located in the South of Birmingham. Its arena is located at Billesley Common. The club was established in 1873.

The flag is a 6-stripes flag with horizontal alternating black and red stripes, like the colours of the trikots. In the middle shifted to the top is a modification of the badge/shield of the club on black background depicted in white Pietra Sancta code. Below the shield are white capitals “MRFC”(1st line) “CENTENARY”(2nd line) and “1873-1973”(3rd line). The 1st line’s capitals are bigger.
The shield normally would be silver divided by a red fess. The fess is superimposed by a silver rampant griffin flanked by two shells of the same colour. The silver fields are superimposed by three black griffin’s(?) heads tongued red in a black circle ordered 2(top) : 1(bottom).
