The coat of arms of Rugvica is in gold black stork armed with red in the right raised leg holding a blue anchor. It is said that the area was once inhabited by black storks, and the anchor is a sign that Rugvica was known as a port in Roman times. The ceremonial flag is a blue gonfalon of triangular end with golden fringes along the lower edge, with the coat of arms in the middle, the name of the municipality in the arch and in the line above the coat of arms, and crossed oak and linden borders below. The table flag has the same rectangular content.
