Coat of Arms

The coat of arms was designed by the architect Humberto Murillo Lozano, being approved by the council on 9 December 1989. Description according to Héraldica Municipal de Chihuahua:

Resolved on Spanish field, of a single section, including as blazons: a red sun with golden rays, symbol of the evangelizers of the region the Jesuits; a cloud represents the hope it will rain, a head of bovine cattle cattle-raising, two passing wolves with prey make allusion to the tenacity they place, the inhabitants in achieving what they propose a tree the forestal resources, behind this oak tree you can get a glimpse of a Christian light, symbol of the Catholic religion. The bordure carries two cobs of corn and two beans in reference to agriculture, the year of 1830 makes allusion to the formation of the population; its original name goes in a ribbon. San Antonio del Tule, a crown reminds use that these lands pertained to the Kingdom of Spain, two branches of alligator juniper frame the shield by its lower part.

At the top of the bordure is "EL TULE CHIHUAHUA", with the code 08 to the left for the state and 064 for the municipality; these are codes used by INEGI for statistical purposes. To the sides are side views of the local church of St. Anthony of Padua.
