Coat of Arms

The coat of arms of Santa Clara was adopted by the council in December 2007. It has the same frame as the church of Our Lady of Santa Clara that protects the municipality. It is divided into three sections. In the middle, a man plowing his fields with a background of the mountains, having corn plants; this symbolizes the agriculture industry. At the top, a man on horseback behind a cattle, remembering the main activity for recreation here that is pulling cows by their tail to tip them over. At the bottom, the Santa Clara River that passes through the municipal seat, with a bridge over it.
