W polu górnym błękitnym, miniatura górnośląskiegom krzyźa powstańczego, z białym orzełkiem w środku.
W polu dolnym źółtym, czarny zarys miejscowych Zakładów Koksowniczych.)
On the medal center is a kind of cape folding an escutcheon with a black cross on white; there are three dates on the medal: left 1919, right 1920, and bottom 1921.

It is a medal commemorating Upper Silesian Uprisings seeking the incorporation of the greater part of Upper Silesia into Poland during hotly contested and manipulated plebiscites in the area in 1919-21 period.
In the center of the medal is the Polish white eagle.
Lower part of the Coat of Arms shows the black outline of the local coal-processing plant.
