A typical agricultural commune. Land under cultivation - 47%; forests
- 46%.
Mentioned by Ptolemy as Limioseleion in 150 B.C. Medieval settlement
dates back to the 13th century. Since 1773, after the second partition
of Poland, under Prussian occupation. Returned to Poland in 1919.
Arms and flag adopted on August 29, 2001 (resolution # XXIII/261/01)
"Coat of Arms of Lubasz is an unicorn.
Flag is a cream-colored rectangle with the Arms in its center."
The proof of the flag included in commune's statut doesn't show color.
