Shield Vert, in base a fess wavy Argent charged with two barrulets wavy Azure, above to trouts jumping affronty Argent, in chief a Marian crown. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank)and white scroll with inscription in black initials "TÁVORA - SANTA MARIA".
Meaning:
The crown is symbolizing St. Mary, local patron saint and name giver of the commune. The fess wavy is symbolizing Lima River.

Santa Maria de Távora Commune was one of the pre-2013 communes of Arcos de Valdevez Municipality (q.v.); it had 690 inhabitants in 2011 and covered 4.3 km².

Meaning:
The ravens are attributes of St. Vincent, local paton saint and name giver. They have the same context as the ravens in the arms of Lisboa.
