Shield Or a Roman altar Azure, flanked at dexter by a flax flower Argent garnished Azure and leafed Vert, at sinister by a maize ear Or leafed Vert, on chief by a millstrone Gules, base wavy Azure a barrulet wavy Argent. Mural crown Argent with three visible (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "REGO"

Presentation of Rego

Rego, or São Bartolomeu do Rego, is one of the ten communes of Celorico de Basto Municipality not affected by the 2013 changes; it had 1032 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 17,9 km².
