Shield Argent, issuant from a base Sable charged with a fess Or a cork oak Vert, charged with a man´s head Argent, on chief five escutcheons Azure in cross, each charged with eleven plates set 3:2:3:2:1 (Portugal ancient). Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and long white scroll, as often used by united communes, reading in black upper case letters "UNIO DASFREGUESIAS DE CASTRO VERDE E CASÉVEL".
Meaning:
The arms are basically those of the former Castro Verde Commune with an addional head taken from the arms of the former Casével Commune.

Castro Verde e Casével is the only commune of Castro Verde Municipality created by a merger during the 2013 changes. It had 5289 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 322,77 km².

Mural crown with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials: "CASÉVEL - CASTRO VERDE".
