Shield Vert a spinning shuttle Or threaded Gules, in chief two lyres Argent stringed Or, in base an eagle displayed inverted Argent animated Gules sinister facing and perched on a baton Argent. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "MOIMENTA DA SERRA".
Meaning:
The eagle is blazoned as Napoleonic and refers to local events during one of the attempted invasions of Portugal by French troops.

Moimenta da Serra was one of the 12 communes of Gouveia Municipality affected by the 2013 changes. It had 652 inhabitants in 2011 and covered 6,47 km².

Shield Argent two lions rampant respectant Purple, in chief an estoile Azure and a grapevine in orle Vert fruited Purple. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "VINHÓ".
Meaning:
The star iconically refers to this particular mountain range, Serra da Estrela (= Star Range, lit. Mountain Range of the Star). The grapevine is probably canting.
