Shield Argent, on fess point a roof tile Gules, surrounded by a wreath of fool´s water cress Vert blossomed Or and crossed per saltire in base. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "RABAÇAL - MEDA".
Meaning:
"Rabaçal" is derived from "rabaça", which is probably fool´s water cress (Latin: Apium nodiflorum, but also rapeseed or the leaves of horseradish (Portuguese: rábano)). The wreath is canting.
