Shield Argent semy fleur-de-lis Vert with base wavy of Azure and Argent crowned by a throughout bridge Sable masoned Argent. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials: "CEIVÃES".
Meaning:
The shield's colour and the flowers are canting, because they are representing a kind of flower growing in the local fields. The bridge is representing the local bridge across Mouro River, where in 1386 Dom João I met the Duke of Lancaster, the pretender to the throne of Castilia. They arranged the matrimony of the Portuguese king with the duke's daughter Philipa of Lancaster. The base wavy is representing the rivers Minho and Mouro.
