Shield Or with base wavy of Azure and Argent, a monastery Sable masoned Argent, having two wings, flanked in chief by two corn cobs Gules leaved Vert. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "MOSTEIRÓ - VILA DO CONDE".
Meaning:
The monastery (Port.: mosteiro) is alluding to a small local monastery of friars, which existed since 1059.
