The shield of the arms is Argent, two radishes Purpure leaved Vert in pale and set in fess, issuant from the flanks and from a base wavy Azure, charged with a barrulet wavy Argent, a two arched bridge Sable masoned Argent. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "SOEIRA - VINHAIS"

Meaning:
The cave included on the arms is a local attraction named Gruta de Dine (Portuguese) or Lorga de Dine (Asturian), and also Casa da Moura Encantada, that is: "Home of the Enchanted Mooress".
