Heraldry:
"In February 17 1995 the session of the town council
approved the gonfalon: a sqare canvas . In a white field there is
the coat of arms of the town. On the sides, the gonfalon has dark
blue edging which width of 1/5 from the width of the gonfalon.
The edging symbolizes the two rivers of Bystrytsya, running
through the town. The author is I.Marchuk."

"In 1994 town council session has confirmed a modern Coat of
Arms - in an azure field you see or mural gate with three equal
towers and each of them has three embattlements and five
loop-holes. At the gate archangel Michael statant with his wings
down. In his right hand he has a raised sword and in his left
hand he has a shield. "

Heraldry:
"Capital of Ivano Frankyivsk Oblast. It appeared in the XVII
century on the place of Pasychne and Kniagynino villages as a
fortress of the magnates Potots'kyis. It was named after Andrew
Potots'kyi's son Stanislav. Under that name it was mentioned for
the first time in 1662. "
