Description of the Flag

The Town of East Lyme has informed me that it does not have a flag.

The flag for the town of East Lyme, Connecticut, consists of the town seal, which is mostly red and yellow, centered on a red field of the same shade.

When I spoke to the Town Clerk, Karen M. Galbo on the phone, I asked her if East Lyme happened to have a flag. She said the town did indeed have something. I asked her for a description and it was a match with the image I had found months prior. She emphasized the yellow shell in the middle a couple of times.
