From Wikipedia: Gwich'in
The Gwich'in (sometimes rendered as Kutchin or Gwitchin), literally "one who dwells" and "I think", are a First Nations/Alaska Native people who live in the northwestern part of North America mostly above the Arctic Circle. The Gwich'in were also known by the French name of Loucheux or Loucheaux in historical documents, as well as the Tukudh used by missionaries.Valentin Poposki See also: www.inuvik.ca:80/gwichin.html for further details about the Gwich'in Nation.
Many Gwich'in speak their indigenous Gwich'in language, which is in the Athabascan language family. There are approximately 9,000 Gwich'in in 15 small communities in the Northwest Territories and Yukon in Canada, and in northern Alaska.
The flag of the Gwich'in First Nation in the Northwest Territories (Canada) is shown on its website (direct link to image).

The flag is a rectangular flag showing on a light teal background an emblem composed of lettering and a stylized representation of a male caribou in black and white lowing against a large (dark?) red sun (or moon?) disc.
The lettering spells "Gwich'in Nation" in white-edged dark blue serif capitals set in two lines, the lower line set so that the red disc replaces the "o".

Noteworthy variations are the background color - varying around aqua, cyan, and teal, the exact typeface used and the way white edging separates the dark blue letters from the background, the overall flag ratio, and the additional writing — flush-right line set above the rest in smaller type reading "Proud to be Gwich'in" in black, in white, or absent.

This image created from the image at www.tmealf.com, by Peter Orenski. To note here the additional text in black, the extra stylization of the caribou, and the specific style of white emphasis around the blue letters (instead of outwards monometric edging, it seems to be "understricken" twice, left and right), aside of the inconspicuous 3:5 ratio and the color of the background - very light blue, only slightly cyan.

A flat rendition of the flag photo at wilderness.org.
Its ratio seems less oblong due to perspective: it could be still around 3:5; the background is darker than the other two known examples, being almost teal. The additional text is absent, and the details of the caribou are halfway in terms of stylization and detail between the other two known examples.

Teetlit is the headquarters of the nation. A
photograph shows it to be a Canadian pale
of green-white-green, with the shield centered in the white field.
