These two stamps were issued individually in 1984.
SG 8 1.40 markka Aland flag (listed and illustrated on my web site)
SG 9a 1.50 markka Midsummer pole.
These two stamps are also listed (among others) at http://stamptraders.com
It would seem that the two stamps were issued together in (July ?) 1987 with a charity surcharge for first day issue.

On September 7 this year there will be a new addition to the list of flag stamps from Åland, a flag tattoo!
Åland Post will issue a booklet of stamps featuring tattoos and one of the stamps is seaman's tattoo. The philatelic newsletter of Åland Post explains: "The seaman's tattoo is placed on the seaman Mikael Sandholm's right forearm. It shows a ship, the flag of Åland and the text 'Sailor's grave'. 'Sailor's grave' is a common seaman's tattoo, reminiscent of fleeting life and the powers of the sea."
For further explanation and a photo see Ålandsposten Filateli,
No. 2, 2006,
p. 10-12.
