By Decree No. 9060 of 1949 as amended by State Decree 5910 of 2005 that
created the rules of the Military Police of Paraná, is created, also the
Governor's Ensign of the State, this decree, in its article 480 thus
provides:
"Article 480 - In the barracks and military establishments of
the Corporation, the presence of State Governor and the General Commander,
will be marked with flags hoisted the main mast containing these emblems of
the following:
a) State Governor - Ensign with 60 cm long by 40 cm high, with
two horizontal bands of equal size, the upper green and yellow below, with
the center a sphere of blue with a white band transverse and indicated with
the word "PARANA" in green letters; up this range a star and below it five
stars, all white.
