President Alexander Lukashenko has approved the symbols of the Paratroops force of the Ministry of Defense on 1 March 2012. The flag of the forces is a bi-color that used blue and green (ratio 2:1), a traditional color of Soviet Airborne forces. In the blue section, there is the badge of the forces (size is 2/5th of the width of the flag).

The Russian flag website "Vexillographia.ru" documents a flag for the commander of the VDV. It is similar to the General Staff flag with the red replaced with blue and the central badge the emblem of the VDV instead of the General Staff emblem. However, there is no legislation that confirms this flags existence.
