Description of the flag

Stewart is a small town and District Municipality at the head of the Portland Canal in the Regional District of Kitimat-Stikine in western British Columbia, Canada. In 2000, its population was about 700.

The District of Stewart has a new flag - horizontal triband teal-gray blue-teal with thin white lines between them and district logo over them in the center.

The flag differs from the seal in that the blue waves are taller, the top shown is shorter, and the bear paw is higher up.
