Description of the flag

The flag of the Rural Municipality of Gimli, Manitoba, consists of three vertical stripes of red-white-red. The left red stripe has the words "RM of" in vertical row in white, in the white stripe is image of the Viking ship, and the right red stripe has the word "GIMLI" in vertical row in white. About the municipality:
"Gimli is a town and municipality located in the Interlake region of south-central Manitoba, Canada. It is located on the western shore of Lake Winnipeg, about 75 kilometres north of the provincial capital Winnipeg. Its population in the 2006 Canada census was 5,797.
