Le logo aux couleurs vert émeraude et bleu royal, dépeint le bateau- remorqueur sur une rivière aux abords stylisés et surplombés de trois conifères. La nouvelle image de marque de Cantley fait donc valoir ses collines verdoyantes ainsi que la rivière Gatineau qui borde la municipalité, tout en gardant le bateau-remorqueur qui prévalait dans son logo initial.

Ce bateau représente les citoyens de Cantley qui ont mené une lutte acharnée, durant les années 1980 pour obtenir l'autonomie de leur municipalité. Les pentes vertes représentent nos principales artères (montée de la Source, montée des Érables, montée St-Amour) ainsi que les pentes de ski et les glissades d'eau; les vagues se veulent la mise en valeur de notre rivière; les trois conifères sont un symbole de nos jeunes familles en plus de représenter nos magnifiques forêts. L'étendue verte au coin inférieur gauche symbolise nos grands espaces verts du secteur agricole, le terrain de golf ou le camping.

Translation:

The logotype, with the emerald green and royal blue colours, depicts the tugboat sailing on a river with stylized surroundings, surmounted by three conifers. Therefore, the new logotype of Cantley highlights its verdant hills as well as the river Gatineau, which lines the municipality, still keeping the tugboat that was the main element in the previous logotype.

This boat represents the citizens of Cantley who fiercely fought in the 1980s to obtain the autonomy of their municipality. The green slopes represent our main roads (montée de la Source, montée des Erables, montée St-Amour), as well as the ski slopes and the water slides; the waves should represent the development of our river, the three conifers symbolize our young families, in addition to our wonderful forests. The green panel in the lower left corner symbolizes the wide green areas used by agriculture, the golf course and the camping site.

Reported in Cyr and Harrington. The logo was designed by Pierre Meilleur, and a resident of Portuguese origin asked his parents overseas to create a flag with the logo, which was done and adopted on June 6 1989.
