The new emblem of Bioggio is composed of the emblems of the former communes which merged with Bioggio in 2004. The red-blue background refers to the colours of the cantonal arms.

On 4 April 2004 the commune of Bioggio merged with Bosco Luganese and Cimo. It kept its old name but got a new emblem. On 20 April 2008 the commune of Iseo joined them (see below).

Azure a fountain with two spouting basins argent in its dexter a branch issuant or and in its sinister a he-goat rampant of the same and in chief a mullet of five also or all above a base paly of eight argent and gules.

Gules a fleur de lis argent and in base a sword of the same hilted and pommend or fesswise point to dexter.

The animal on the flag of Iseo is a stone-marten (in Italian faina, Latin martes foina) after the nickname given to the inhabitants.
