Overview

Again, the dimensions are stated as length x width, as per official specifications, rather than width x length as practiced in the West.
It should be noted however that the official specifications give the dimensions in Yingzhochi (營造尺, "Architect's Foot"), used in China until 1929, in which one chi ("foot") equals 32cms. The dimensions have been converted to centimeters for the specifications below.

Dimensions: 108.8cm x 89.6cm, plus 19.2cm red fringe. Name of unit written in black letters on white strip at the hoist (11.2cm x 70.4cm). Above it is a red tassel (22.4cm long). Flagpole: red, 256cm long, 19.2cm circumference, length includes white bronze spearhead finial (25.6cm long) and white bronze pike base (19.2cm long).
