"Celeste blue that synthetizes the sky and the river
resources, represented by watercourses such as marshes, brooks
and Río Grande de la Magdalena.
Emerald green reflecting the aspiration of the village to
consolidate Sabanagrande as a pilot municipality of the
Department of Atlántico and of Colombia.
White refelcting peace, a feature of Sabanagrande and its
inhabitants, who are hospitable and respect the social and
religious values. The seven-pointed sun represents the sun source
of the wealth of Sabanagrande. The seven points mean that the sun
shines every morning seven days a week.

The sun in the original image has 9 + two 1/2 visible points
(which give total of 20 for the whole sun). I suppose they meant
seven visible points...
