The following is a gallery of current flags of countries, sovereign states, each a link to the relevant flag page. The list of flags and entities should represent the world as it was at the time the page was last edited. If a flag is displayed sinister hoist (from right to left), a small staff is depicted sinister (behind it).
Normally, FotW uses ISO 3166 to determine which entities to include separately. For the galleries of country flags, to shift the focus more towards countries Wikipedia's List of sovereign states was used as the list criterion (as last read on 10 March 2017).
