- Sedliště, Frýdek-Místek, Moravosilesian region in Czechia. Flag adopted
26 May 2000.
Sedliště was mentioned among villages obliged to pay tithe to the Episcopate
of Wroclav (1305). Therefore, Sedliště had to be founded in the second
half of the 13th century. Land and Duties Register of 1636 mentioned that
most ponds in the Manor of Frýdek were located in Sedliště. There were
seven ponds and each of them had its name. The most important sight is
the wooden church (kostel Všech svatých) built in 1638. During the
World War II an illegal group named called Odboj domoviny was active
in the village. Inhabitants (31 Dec 2001): 1202.
