Flagdescription: three vertical stripes of white and green, proportioned 1:3:1; in center a bunch of grapes between a vinecutting knife and a ploughshare, all white.
Flag adopted 5 October 2004.
Homepage: "The first mention of this village is in the document from 13. century, issued by the Přemysl Otakar I. This deed confirmed the purchase of the village by Velehrad monastery from the knight Dobem for 30 silver coins. In the 15th century Velehrad monastery was heavily damaged by Hussite Wars and for the lack of money sold the village to the citizen of Uherské Hradiště Štěpán Pleulov. However, his son donated it back to monastery. In 1547 Zlechov was given to the House of Žerotín. During the 17th century the country was heavily damaged by years of war (1604-05 raid of Hungarians, 1621-23 marches of army during the Thirty Years War, 1645 raid of Swedes; 1663, 1683 and 1706 attacks of Turks). Futhermore there were a lot of floods caused by Zlechov stream. The largest of them was in 1825, which is still reminded by memorial tablet on the wall of the old Town Hall."
