Dammbach Coat of Arms

Shield parted enhanced by a fess wavy Argent; above Gules two oak leaves Argent in saltire and an acorn of the same; beneath parted per pale, at dexter barry of eight of Gules and Or, at sinister Azure a bend sinister Argent charged with three annulets Azure.
Meaning:
The fess wavy is representing the name giving Dammbach, a creek. Acorn and oak leaves are symbolising the location in the Spessart, a forest. The dexter half beneath is a differentiation of the arms of the Counts of Rieneck, who owned Krausenbach. The sinister half beneath displays the arms of the Echter kin of Mespelbrunn, who owned Wintersbach. Both villages were incorporated into Dammbach in 1976.
