Shield Argent, issuant from base a castle Gules masoned Argent with port and windows Argent having three towers, in port an impending inescutcheon parted per fess of Gules and Argent.
Meaning:
On 8 January 2010 the city council decided to use an amendation of the former arms of Wanzleben, which also displayed a castle. The nine windows are representing the nine former municipalities. The castle is representing the new city as a whole. The inescutcheon displays the arms of the Archbishopric of Magdeburg, to which the area historically belonged. And the colours red and white are those of the archbishopric.
