Königsbrück Coat of Arms

Renaissance shield Azure with base wavy Argent, issaunt from base a throughout embattled bridge Or masoned Sable with three arches, in chief an impending royal coronet Or.
Meaning:
On the border between the Margraviate of Meißen and the Kingdom of Böhmen the Bohemian king established a fortress and a customs house around 1200. The settlement was first mentioned in 1248 and called a city in 1331. The arms are canting, displaying a bridge (German: Brücke) and a royal coronet, representing a king, probably the Bohemian one. The bridge was crossing the Pulsnitz River. In 1895 similar arms were approved by the Saxonian Minister of Interior with a base Vert instead and embowed black ways coming out from the central arch. The base was replaced by the current base wavy probably in 1994.
