Shield parted per pale, at dexter Gules three pallets Or, a t sinister Or a fess Azure.
Meaning:
The dexter half displays the arms of the Runtinger kin, the sinister half those of the Nothafft kin. The former had been commissionaires of the Margraves of Cham-Vohburg and were mentioned as local rulers first in 1118. The latter acquired the possessions of Michel Runtinger in 1413 and ruled the district until 1829.

The banner has never been approved officially. The arms were approved on 25 January 1980 by district governor (Regierungspräsident) of Oberpfalz.
