Shield Azure, a goose-foot Argent armed Gules.
Meaning:
The arms are based on the oldest known seals of the local court, dating from the 16th and 17th century. It was kept also in the seal of the local mayor from the 19th century. The goose-foot is a rather common village sign. The first known coloured image was made by Otto Hupp (in 1925?) and displayed the same colours as the current arms. The approved colours from 1965 however were different at least until 1967, because Klemens Stadler displays a golden goose foot armed red in a green shield.
The arms were approved on 21 January 1965.
