Shield Argent, issuant from base a mount Vert, crowned by a bush Vert blossomed by three heraldic roses Gules, seeded Argent and barbed Vert.
Meaning:
The arms are based on the old seal of the city from 1625, which was in use up to the 18th century. The roses are a symbol of the local court (German: Centgericht) and probably not for St.Mary, the patron saint of the city.
The arms were approved in 1930.
