Haimhausen Coat of Arms

Shield Argent an eagle Sable, chief Azure charged with three lozenges Or in fess.
Meaning:
The Haimhausen district was closely connected with the Wittelbach kin since the 13th century. Blue and white are the tinctures of the kin. The lozenges and the eagle are taken from the arms of the Viepeck family. Wolfgang Viepeck had been guardian of Haimhausen and chancellor of Landshut in service of Duke Albrecht V. Duke Wilhelm V granted the district to Theodor Viepeck, the son of Wolfgang, in 1590. The family was elevated to Imperial Counts (Reichsgrafen) of Haimhausen in 1692.
