Shield quartered of Gules and Or, a church Argent.
Meaning:
The parish church of Ehingen is fortified and a local landmark. Since the Protestant Reformation the village was divided. One half belonged to the Protestant branch of the Oettingen kin and adopted its confession. Since then the local church is a simultaneous church. In its nave there next to the high altar there are two smaller altars for Catholics and a fourth altar for Protestants. The tower is from the 12th century. The church is surrounded by a wall with embrasures.
