Reute Municipal Coat of Arms

he shield is divided per pale into red and blue. The dexter side is divided by a silver (= white) fess. The sinister side displays a golden (= yellow) plough share.
Meaning:
The dexter half displays the arms of Austria. Local landlords in 1612 had been the Lords of Harsch. The plough share can be found in seals (after 1811?). Since the middle of the 19th century coloured stamps were in used, displaying the plough share among other tools. The plough share was overtaken to the arms in 1906.
