Description of coat of arms:
The shield is divided per fess. Above in a silver (= white) field is a red demi-eagle issuant armed golden. Below in a red field are three silver (=white) bendy hammers ordered 2:1.
Meaning:
According to source the eagle is symbolizing the Lords of Kronenburg while the hammers are alluding to iron industries in the former municipality of Schmidtheim.
