Meaning:
All elements as parts of an oak (German: Eiche) are referring to the municipality's name. Especially the acorns are representing the five parts of the municipality Berge with Neuenrode, Eichenberg with Eichenberg station and Eichenberg village, Hebenshausen, Hermannrode and Marzhausen.
