The shield is divided per pale. The dexter side shows black hammer and mallet in a silver (= white) field. The sinister side shows a red griffin's head, armed golden (= yellow) and tongued red in a blue field.
Meaning:
The griffin's head is alluding to Pommern, hammer and mallet are symbolising the local iron mongery.

The flag was approved on 27 February 1992 by Minister of Interior of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The coat of arms is traditional and was adopted before 1898. Both were published in the Municipal Roll of Arms Mecklenburg-Vorpommern as no.12

It is a white-green-white horizontal triband with ratio of stripes 2:5:2 and centred arms, exceeding the green stripe.

Shield Argent, two yew branches Vert with berries Gules on flanches, on middle chief point Vert a linden leaf Or, on middle base point Vert a wine glass Or.
Meaning:
The vine glass is referring to a local glass kiln. The leaf is representing the characteristic lindens in the centre of the village, while the yew branches are representing the trees in the park of the local estate, being more than 250 years old. The silver part of the shield has the shape of the initial "H" and is referring to Christoph Ludwig Henrici (died 1758), name giver of the village,who created the estate and the yew park on behalf of the Prussian King.
