Shield Or, a tower Azure on top of a mount issuant of the same, flanked at dexter by a sickle Azure in bend and at sinister by a bobbin in bend sinister of the same.
Meaning:
Beiersdorf was first mentioned on 21 January 1272 as a possession of the Bishopric of Meißen. It was acquired by the Electorate of Sachsen in 1559. In 1489 Hans of Rechenberg was enfeoffed as local ruler by Bishop Johann of Meißen. The family owned the village until the 17th century. The tower is a representation of the lookout on top of the Bieleboh, a mountain. The tools are symbolising agriculture and textiles industry.
