Coat of Arms

Shield Argent, two bars Sable, charged with a bend sinister wavy Azure, in dexter chief a watermill's wheel with 16 paddles in counterchanged colours.
Meaning:
The bars are taken from the arms of the Counts of Isenburg(-Birstein), who played an important role in the local history. The bend wavy is symbolising the many (small) streams in the municipality, such as Salz, Bracht and Reichenbach. The millwheel is symbolising the many former watermills along these creeks. The number of paddles is representing the 16 villages and hamlets of the municipality.
