It is a red-white-red vertical triband with ratio of stripes approx. 1:4:1. The red stripes are divided by vertical yellow lines. The coat of arms is shifted to the top within the central stripe.

Coat of Arms

Shield parted per fess, above Or three inescutcheons Gules ordered 1:2, beneath Gules a Maltese cross Argent.
Meaning:
The inescutcheons are representing the settlement cores Neuberg proper furthermore Ravolzhausen and Rüdigheim, which had been incorporated on 1 April 1971. The Maltese cross is alluding to the church of Rüdigheim, which had been a possession of the Order of St. John. It is one of the oldest churches in the county.
